Hair serum review

L’OREAL PARIS SMOOTH INTENSE INSTANT SMOOTHING SERUM WITH ARGAN OIL-REVIEW

Hey beauties, wassup??  Today I want to share with you all the review of an interesting hair care product- L’oreal’s newest hair serum that is enriched with argan oil (yay!!)
When I first looked at this product while shopping for my daily groceries at the departmental store, I thought to myself, “This must be like some other hair serum “, because I haven’t been really satisfied with most other hair serums. But, then the packaging was nice and it read “with Argan oil”. (Now that’s what got me really interested!!) Plus, I bought it at a discounted price!! *dancing *dancing )
So what is so special about this product? Does it really live up to its claims?? Read on to find out.....
1.    Packaging: The packaging is really nice, in a golden box. The bottle is also in the brown and golden combination, giving it a sophisticated look.

2.    Price:          The maximum retail price is Rs.240, but I grabbed it at a discount for Rs.214. (yeaaaaaaaaaah!!)
3.    Ingredients :  As I have already mentioned before, the most important ingredient is argan oil, which is naturally rich in fatty acids and provides intense smoothing. (Yes sweety, if you have really dry and unmanageable hair, it’s for you. But my hair type is naturally soft smooth and silky, so it gives my hair tremendous gloss and sheen.)

4.    Directions for use: It is a leave in serum, so after washing your hair and drying it naturally, take the serum as per your hair length and rub it along the length of your hair( not vigorously, show some love, honey!) Then run your comb through your hair once, and voila, you’re ready!!

5.     Some things to remember  : The product is ideal for use before styling. Apply to dry hair for more intense shine.

6.     How does the product look like? : It is a clear transparent thick liquid, with a nice shampoo-ey fragrance . :P :P

My personal experience: Very satisfied with the product. My hair is naturally glossy, and silky (thank you, genesJ), but when I apply this magic potion onto my hair, it becomes instantly glossier. Plus, I always had this problem of never being able to leave my hair open, which has now been solved.  But do not apply the serum onto your scalp as it may make your hair appear oily and sticky. The product claims to keep hair manageable for up to 48 hours but I am yet to find out as I wash my hair every alternate day. But, for as long as I am outdoors, it keeps my hair soft and moist. It really prevents the damaging effect of the sun from drying your hair. (That does not mean you shall not use umbrellas and scarves!!)
Will I buy this product again?? : Yes, definitely!! It’s the best among the hair serums I have used so far!!
Before wrapping up my review, let’s go through the pros and cons of this product:
Pros:
·       Good packaging
·       Great results
·       Nice smell
·       Protects hair from dust and heat
·       Lasts for more than a month
Cons:
·       At rs.240 for 100 ml, it’s a bit pricey, but well worth it

·       Nothing else, really

I am really glad I found this product. Now for my rating:
4.5/5
Well, that’s all for today. Please let me know how my review was....feel free to like or dislike it and give suggestions. I’m always open to constructive criticism. J
